During the 25th Designblok International Festival, Studio DECHEM presents a new collection of products reflecting the creative possibilities of Fragmentglass.

New material, new products. In this year’s installation, Studio DECHEM explores the possibilities of using a material which it developed themselves from recycled glass. In its artistically interdisciplinary installation, prepared in collaboration with photographer Adela Havelkova and musician Filip Misek, it presents entirely new collections of glass objects that demonstrate the creative possibilities of the uniquely recycled material.

The entire installation is accompanied by an original musical backdrop working with the sounds of glass created during production. “I like the variety of the soundscape, both its subtlety and its harshness. I tried to structure this diversity while maintaining its authenticity,” explains sound artist Filip Misek.
